Patch Repair and Relining
When a pipe is cracked, using a drain patch is often the most effective repair method. We provide a variety of patch drain repairs tailored to fit all pipe diameters. Drain patches & Relining enable us to repair the pipe internally by sealing the damaged area with a patch engineered for efficient and discreet drainage repair.

What is Patch Repair?
The Pipe Doctor No-Dig Pipe Repair range delivers professional contractors a permanent and watertight finish to damaged pipes, every time. And Pipe Doctor Patch Repair Kits were the first no-dig patch repair system to gain WRc approval.
Yes, But What is a Patch Repair?
A popular drain repair service that we offer is a “no dig” patch repair. As the name suggests, this repair does not require excavations and instead encompasses various lining techniques. The result is a speedy, reliable fix that won’t dent your pocket. If a drain becomes damaged you will need to decide what measures to take in order to resolve the issue. This will depend on the extent and seriousness of the damage.
No-Dig Repair options vary depending on the application, but they all involve inserting a liner into a drain which is impregnated with resin. The liner is moved into position, whether it is local or full length, and then inflated to give a water tight repair by effectively making a thin strong layer inside the existing drain. When the required cure time has elapsed, the means of inflating the repair is removed to restore the full drain function and integrity.
Trenchless technologies such as patch repair is a popular choice for rectifying drain repairs as it’s cost-effective and causes less disruption. But for more serious cases, it may be necessary to employ full excavation and drain replacement to rectify this issue. However, Fortunately for you we offer our Civil Engineering Services to help with these issues.
Benefits of Patch Repair:
1. No-Dig Technology: Minimizes disruption and damage to property and public areas.
2.Cost-Effective: A more affordable solution than traditional excavation and pipe replacement.
3.Durable & Watertight: Provides a structurally sound and leak-free repair.
4.Environmentally Friendly: Less impact on the local environment and reduced carbon footprint.
5.Fast: Repairs are completed quickly, often within 2 hours.

Before VS After
These before and after images show the base of a vent pipe located beneath the house footings. The pipes are neither watertight nor structurally sound, resulting in poor effluent flow away from the property. Repairing this through excavation would have been very costly for the customers..
All of these underground pipes are now structurally sound, watertight, and ensure a smooth flow of effluent away from the property, free from the previous obstacles that caused blockages. The owners had endured blockages for years before finally taking action—and were surprised at how affordable the solution was..
Pipe lining is a non-intrusive method of repairing drainage pipework without the need to dig trenches which can be both damaging and costly. It works by installing a sleeved pipe within the existing drain which then forms to the existing shape, strengthening the entirety of the pipe and sealing fractures, holes and displacements away.
Our Pipe Lining repairs, What are they?
we use two distinct forms of pipe lining technique depending on the situation. Ambient cured lining and heat cured lining. These two methods of drain lining repair and drain relining allow us to cater to a wide range of drain sizes and repair needs.
1.Ambient Cured Lining
Ambient cured lining is employed for full or partial relining of sewers or drains to address multiple defects. This drain repair method is ideal for sites with limited space and smaller diameter pipes, commonly found in domestic properties and small commercial businesses.
Ambient cured drain lining creates a seamless, continuous repair that not only fixes existing damage but also acts as a barrier against future external intrusions, such as tree roots. During installation, the resin is pulled, pushed, or inverted into position using water or air pressure. The liner then cures naturally at ambient temperatures, eliminating the need for heat or UV light, resulting in a smooth, durable repair.
2.Heat Cured Lining
Another pipe lining technique is heat cured lining. This approach is applied to line the entire length of the drain, addressing multiple defects in larger diameter and longer pipes, such as those commonly found on construction sites and large industrial facilities.
Heat cured lining is installed using the inversion method, where a resin-impregnated liner is inverted through the pipe using a column of water, moving from one manhole to another. The water inside the pipe is then heated to the necessary temperature to initiate the curing process.
Since the wastewater generated during this procedure contains styrene—a marine pollutant—our tankers remain on standby after completion to collect the wastewater and transport it to treatment facilities for safe and environmentally responsible disposal.
At Elite, we offer both patch repair and excavation as a drain repair technique.
Depending on the size and extent of the damage to your drain, we can help make sure that you have the right solution to provide a sturdy repair, whether that is ambient, heat cured lining or a full excavation and replacement.
Whatever your requirement, contact us and a member of our team will be happy to help you resolve your drainage issue.

Where there is serious damage to drain segments there may be a need to have the pipe excavated, however, most of the time drains do not need to be excavated to repair them. Several techniques can be employed to repair drains using specialist drain repair tools instead of excavating the drains. These tools enable the drain to be repaired from the inside out using techniques such as trenchless drain repair and drain patch repair in a quick and efficient manner.
